Playback, Sociodrama and Psychodrama
April 27-29, 2012
Friday 6-9, Sat 9-5 and Sun 9-4
**
in Berkeley, California**
Bay Area Moreno Institute

What is Playback Theatre?
What is Psychodrama? What is Sociodrama? How are each of these forms
different? How are they similar? When and where is the best way each
can be used? How can one be used in the service of the other?
This workshop will give a
general review of each of these action methods. We will then explore
how they work, experiencing their differences, similarities, and how
they might interface. We will discover how to determine when each method
can best serve specific populations and situations.
Experienced practitioners
will be able to contribute their skills and ideas, while anybody who
is curious and willing to engage with these forms will get a taste of
the world of action methods. This workshop is appropriate for group
leaders, teachers, therapists, social activists, and other similarly-minded
people.
