Directions to Hudson Valley Trainings at Boughton Place
Most of Hudson Valley Psychodrama’s New York State trainings and workshops are held at Boughton Place in Highland, NY. Boughton Place is home to the original Moreno psychodrama stage and provides affordable housing for our students who wish to stay overnight. Highland, NY is just 90 miles north of New York City and is easily accessible via car, air, or public transportation.

BY AIR: We are just 30 minutes from Newburgh’s Stewart International Airport (http://www.panynj.gov/airports/stewart.html) which offers flights from jetBlue, Delta Connection and US Airways Express. Flights are often offered to and from the following hubs: Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, Detroit, Minneapolis and Fort Lauderdale. Flights that arrive into JFK, LaGuardia, Albany or Newark Airports can also connect to us via public transportation such as bus or train.
BY BUS: New Paltz, the town next to us, is served by Greyhound and Trailways (http://www.trailways.com/) buslines. Trailways buses run hourly to and from Port Authority in New York City. Buses also serve various locations in Long Island, Albany, Oneonta, and Westchester and connections to buses serving Western and Northern New York State, Western Massachussetts, and beyond.
BY TRAIN: We are a 10 minute drive or cab ride to Poughkeepsie, NY, home of a Metro North (http://www.mta.info/mnr/) train station that offers commuter trains to various points in Westchester and New York City, terminating at New York’s Grand Central Station. The same station also serves Amtrak (http://www.mta.info/mnr/), with trains going north to Albany and south to New York’s Penn Station. At these two New York City train stations connections are available for Amtrak, New Jersey Transit, Long Island Railroad and Metro North trains serving much of the northeast corridor.
